National History​
 

Sigma Pi Fraternity was founded February 26, 1897 at Vincennes University on the principles of chivalry, scholarship, service and brotherhood. With over 127 chapters and over 100,000 members internationally, Sigma Pi continues to be one of the top Fraternities in the country.​

The Creed of Sigma Pi​​
 

I Believe
in Sigma Pi, a Fellowship of
kindred minds, united in
Brotherhood to advance Truth
and Justice, to promote
Scholarship, to encourage
Chivalry, to diffuse Culture, and
to develop Character, in the
Service of God and Man; and
I will strive to make real the
Fraternity’s ideals in my own

Local History​​
 

The Epsilon Chapter here at Ohio University has continued to carry on the ideals and values of Sigma Pi since our inception in 1910. Epsilon Chapter currently is a top-tier Fraternity on OU’s campus, with around 100 members.
